SUMMER FUN

So far this summer has been going by way too fast... I can't believe we only have 1 month until the big day. Below are some pictures from our events this summer so far. I am still waiting to get pics of the super fun bachelorette party and my beautiful shower.

John's friend Ryan was married on June 30th in Rochester,NY.
We had a wonderful time at all of the wedding events and we are so happy for Ryan and Elizabeth!

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER

School is all done yeah! I think that the teacher's look forward to summer vacation more than the kids. I had a wonderful class this year, but boy I am looking forward to the summer days ahead! WE both know how hard teachers work during the year, but there is nothing like having a job that require 10 weeks off! Here is my new summer schedule: ( I checked with Mack to see of it was ok)
8:30-10:00- wake-up walk MACK and head to the gym with Erin
10:00- 12:00- CHORES
12:00- 3:00 Tanning and Tennis
3:00- 5:00- wedding stuff
5:00- 6:00 -Dinner with my darling John
6:00 -8:00- optional activities
8:00-10:00- reading and or tv time
10:00- 12:00 SIMS and or sleep or other recreational activites...
This schedule is just in theory and will probably change drastically after one week, but it is good to have goals!

My friends from Calvin Coolidge threw me an amazing bridal shower last week. Patti hosted it on her awesome back deck and we all had such a great time! I still felt like I was there for somebody else's shower and I was overwhelmed by all of the fantastic gifts. I know they all have been auditioning to be my bridesmaids since last year. I told them they all could be bridesmaids and that they could wear whatever dress they wanted and to just show up at the church at 1:00! HAHAHA LOVE YOU ALL!

My 30th Birthday!

The girls and I spent my birthday dinner at Margarita's a tiny Mexican restaurant that we soon overtook. Boy did we have a great time. We danced to music and the owner even let me wear the sombrero and lit up a disco ball for us to dance! John and Jack also surprised us for part of the dinner and they certainly added to the celebration!

After a very long hiatus the Whalen's blog is again up and running. We have had many technical difficulties including a broken camera and moving John's parents back to their house... Oh yeah and the other thing that we have coming up in August! HAHA
The end of school count down has begun, only 20 school days left! But who's counting? We had a wonderful time this week celebrating my 30th birthday and hopefully I can share some pics real soon. I hope all is well with everyone and be on the lookout for more posts soon since I will soon be on vacation!
